On July 26, 2025, Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School solemnly observed Kargil Vijay Diwas to honor the brave soldiers who laid down their lives during the Kargil War of 1999. Students from Classes 6 to 8 participated in a commemorative visit to the Company Garden, where they paid tribute to the valiant war heroes through a peaceful march and silent prayer.
The event aimed to instill patriotism and respect for the armed forces among young minds. Students held placards with patriotic slogans and sang national songs to express their gratitude toward the soldiers' supreme sacrifices.
A heartfelt and motivational message was delivered by Principal Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo, who encouraged students to always remember the bravery of the Kargil martyrs and to draw inspiration from their courage and dedication. She emphasized the importance of national pride, unity, and the responsibilities of young citizens toward the country.
The observance concluded with a moment of silence and the singing of the national anthem, leaving everyone with a deep sense of pride and respect for India’s brave hearts.
