Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School Shines at IIMUN 2026, Bringing Home Prestigious Accolades
Demonstrating remarkable intellectual prowess, diplomatic acumen and debating excellence, the students of Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School, Prayagraj, brought immense pride and glory to the institution through their outstanding performance at the India International Model United Nations (IIMUN), held at Ramanujan Public School, Prayagraj, from 30 October to 01 November 2026.
The three-day conference brought together young minds and aspiring leaders, offering them a dynamic platform to deliberate upon pressing national and international issues. With eight committees facilitating meaningful discussions and debates, the conference provided an enriching opportunity for students to hone their leadership, communication, negotiation, diplomacy, public-speaking and critical-thinking skills.
Representing the school with exceptional enthusiasm and determination, the students participated in three committees: Lok Sabha, Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and the United Nations Disarmament and International Security Committee (UN DISEC).
Adding a glorious chapter to the school’s achievements, Samriddhi Rai clinched the prestigious Best Delegate Award in Lok Sabha, demonstrating exceptional oratory, persuasive argumentation, astute political understanding and exemplary leadership. Further enhancing the school’s pride, Vaghvi Mishra earned a Verbal Mention in UN DISEC in recognition of her commendable participation, insightful contributions and effective articulation of ideas.
