MUN Workshop - Day 2: Climate Change and Developing Nations' 

Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School concluded its two-day MUN Workshop on 13 September 2026 with a thought-provoking session on “Climate Change and Developing Nations.” The deliberations through the General Speakers List (GSL) transformed the forum into a vibrant arena of diplomacy, informed perspectives and collaborative thinking.

Representing nations with confidence and conviction, the delegates demonstrated critical thinking, eloquence, negotiation skills, active listening and diplomatic finesse. Their courteous conduct and respectful engagement added depth and dignity to the proceedings, reflecting the values that Principal Ma’am encourages students to imbibe beyond the MUN forum.

Outstanding performances were recognised with Best Delegate honours for Samriddhi Rai (Saudi Arabia) and Mayank Tripathi (Colombia); Best Speaker for Vaghvi Mishra (Fiji) and Jahnavi Mishra (UAE); Honourable Mention for Akshat Mishra (Norway) and Naitik Shukla (Ethiopia); and Special Mention for Aarav Jaiswal (Nigeria), Divya Shukla (Ghana), Arpit Dubey (USA) and Anushree Mishra (Maldives).

Resource Person Ms Ipshita Shukla encouraged students to actively participate in such enriching initiatives and remain abreast of emerging developments and new reforms. The workshop concluded as a meaningful lesson in global citizenship, dialogue and responsible leadership.
