The First Step Towards Excellence: Our Principal's Welcome Address to the Foundational Stage

A heart-warming Special Assembly was organised for the students of the Foundational Stage (Nursery to Class II) at Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School, Prayagraj, on 2nd July 2026, to extend a joyful welcome to the little learners at the beginning of the new academic session. Thoughtfully envisioned under the guidance of our Principal, Mrs. Dolly Banerjee, the assembly created an atmosphere of warmth, enthusiasm, and purposeful learning.

The programme was gracefully compered by Ms. Sneha Jain. The assembly commenced with the school's new prayer, soulfully presented by Ms. Divya Mishra and Ms. Juweria Ibkar, followed by a melodious Welcome Song rendered by the teachers' choir comprising Ms. Shalini Ganguly, Ms. Jyoti Srivastava, and Ms. Uma Banerjee. Ms. Priya Singh shared the Thought of the Day, inspiring the young minds with a simple yet meaningful message, while the students were warmly greeted through the Welcome Address delivered by Ms. Suchismita Purwar, Coordinator, Junior Section.

The highlight of the assembly was the affectionate address by our Principal, Mrs. Dolly Banerjee, who warmly welcomed the little ones and encouraged them to smile, shine, and enjoy every moment of learning. She gently emphasised the importance of discipline, good behaviour, and listening attentively to their teachers, reminding the children that these values form the foundation of a happy and successful school life.

Under the guidance of the Principal, Ms. Divya Mishra thoughtfully explained the new school prayer line by line, enabling the young learners to understand its meaning and imbibe the values and ideals it conveys. The interactive explanation helped the children connect with the prayer in a meaningful and age-appropriate manner.

The assembly concluded on a cheerful and inspiring note, reflecting the school's unwavering commitment to nurturing young minds through values, discipline, and joyful learning.
