Illuminating Lives with Love: A Diwali Initiative
Some celebrations illuminate homes, while others brighten hearts. Reflecting this beautiful spirit of Diwali, Principal Mrs Dolly Banerjee encouraged a thoughtful initiative by Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School. On 3 November 2026, students of Class X, accompanied by their teachers, visited RavindraNath Gaur Tara Vrudhashram to share festive cheer with the elderly residents.
The students presented handmade greeting cards, beautifully decorated diyas and sweets, spreading warmth and happiness through their thoughtful gestures. Their cheerful interactions brought smiles to the residents, who reciprocated with heartfelt blessings and affection.
The visit offered students a meaningful lesson in empathy, compassion and respect for the elderly, reaffirming that the true light of Diwali lies in sharing happiness, touching lives and making everyone feel valued.
