Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee Celebrates Excellence
Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School, Prayagraj, organised its Annual Prize Day Celebration on 25 April 2026 at the School Auditorium to recognise and honour the outstanding achievements of its students. The event was a proud and memorable occasion, marked by enthusiasm, appreciation, and the celebration of academic excellence.
The programme was graced by the Chief Guest, Shri Vinod Kumar Singh, City Magistrate, Prayagraj. Distinguished members of the Jagat Taran Education Society, including the President, Shri Pradeep Mukherjee; Vice President, Prof. Ashim Kumar Mukherjee; Secretary, Shri Sanjeev Chanda; Treasurer, Shri Shankar Chatterjee; Manager, Shri Amit Kumar Neogy; members Shri Anjan Palit and Shri Subroto Sen; along with the Principal, Ms Sushmita Kanungo, were present on the occasion.
Students were felicitated for their outstanding academic performance, including overall toppers, subject toppers, and those with 100% attendance. In a special gesture of appreciation, parents of students who achieved 100% attendance were also felicitated for their consistent support and encouragement. The achievements were warmly applauded by the dignitaries, teachers, and parents present in the august gathering. The programme was flawlessly compered by Ms Sneha Jain, who conducted the proceedings with grace and confidence.
In his address, the President, Shri Pradeep Mukherjee, motivated the students to continually strive for improvement and never cease learning. He encouraged them to pursue excellence in every sphere of life. The Chief Guest, Shri Vinod Kumar Singh, advised students to learn from their failures, remain punctual, and value the learning process. He also emphasised the importance of ethics, responsibility, and accountability in shaping one’s character, and urged parents to guide their children towards being disciplined, consistent, and positive while adapting to the evolving environment.
Principal, Ms Sushmita Kanungo, highlighted that introspection is an essential quality that every individual must cultivate. She stressed that progressing with focus and achieving small, consistent goals ultimately shapes a person into a successful individual and a responsible citizen of society. She also acknowledged that such events are made possible through the dedication and commitment of a team that upholds the values of the institution.
The celebration reflected the school’s commitment to academic excellence, discipline, and holistic development. It was truly an inspiring occasion that encouraged students to pursue knowledge with dedication and confidence.
