Description: Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School, Prayagraj, celebrated Teachers' Day with a grand celebration, honoring the invaluable contributions of its educators. The festivities began with a reverent invocation to Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of wisdom, setting a dignified tone for the day.
The students showcased their talents through a diverse range of performances. The pre-primary students captivated the audience with their adorable dance, while the tiny tots of Classes 1 and 2 presented a mesmerizing dance performance to "Itti Si Hansi, Itti Si Khushi." The students of Classes 3 to 5 highlighted the impact of social media through a thought-provoking skit, and Class 6 paid a heartfelt tribute to teachers with a beautiful Hindi poem.
The senior classes also made significant contributions, with Class 7 presenting a classical dance, Class 8 showcasing a skit on the evolution of the guru-shishya tradition, and Class 9 staging a play on the life and legacy of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The students of Class 10 enthralled the audience with a soulful Qawali, while Classes 11 and 12 presented energetic and beautiful dance performances, respectively.
In a lighthearted segment, teachers walked the ramp in outfits inspired by famous Bollywood actors and actresses, bringing laughter and joy to the event. The students also organized various games for their teachers, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The celebration was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Ashim Mukherjee, Officiating President of Jagat Taran Education Society, Shri Manoj Banerjee, Vice President, Shri Sanjeev Chanda, Secretary, Shri Shankar Chatterjee, Treasurer, Shri Amit Neogi, Manager of Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School, members of the school management committee, and Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo, the school Principal.
In his speech, Shri Ashim Mukherjee acknowledged the selfless services of teachers, recognizing their tireless efforts in shaping society. Mrs. Sushmita Kanungo, the school Principal, also wished all teachers a Happy Teachers' Day, expressing gratitude for their dedication and hard work. The event concluded on a note of appreciation and respect for the noble profession.
