Cricket match- organised on Teachers 'Day to foster team spirit. An electrifying cricket match was organised to celebrate Teachers' 'Day between the students and teachers of Jagat Taran Golden Jubilee School Prayagraj, on 6 th September '2025. 

The enthusiasm of the teachers and students could be seen right from the beginning of the match which  started with the introduction of the two teams . Shri Amit Neogi. Manager  JTGJS ,and Shri Anjan Palit,member of the managing committee , JTGJS,were introduced to the players of both the teams. The  teacher's team was led by Shri Jeetendra Pandey , Captain ,and Shri Peeyush Singh, vice captain . For the students  team, Aarush Singh, the Sports captain was the captain , assisted by Ananyatam Rai,head boy of the school as the vice captain . Smt. Madhuri Srivastava took the onus of conducting  the commentary in Hindi along with Saubhagya Srivastava,a student of the school. The scorers for the match were Avinash Tripathi and Sanskar Mishra who  meticulously performed their job of keeping the score pretty well.

The match started with the teacher's team batting first with Shri Jeetendra Pandey and Rohit sir. After the dismissal of Rohit Sir many teachers came and gave their best namely Ashraf Sir, in particular who ably supported the captain. The contribution of Jeetendra Pandey Sir, was indeed exemplary. He played the captain 's knock with 56 runs to his credit The teachers' team managed 120 runs after the end of 10 overs. The match resumed after 10 minutes break with the opening batsmen , Lakshya Yadav and Akshat Mishra taking the responsibility on their shoulders. After the dismissal of Lakshya, Bhavishya Mishra came up to prove his mettle. With a target of 121 runs, the students had to struggle in order  to score the desired runs. Finally the teachers ousted the students and emerged victorious with 34  runs to spare. Shri Jeetendra Pandey was adjusted the best batsman and the bowler was Ashraf Sir. Overall,it was a thrilling match,between the teachers and students which ended on a very positive note , showcasing true sportsman spirit and teamwork.
